Living in Cabo de Palos

Cabo de Palos grew around its harbour and the lighthouse on the headland. The waterfront is lined with fish restaurants, and the protected waters around the Islas Hormigas draw divers from far beyond the region.

Next to the village lies the regional park of Calblanque, with undeveloped beaches and dunes. The village is quiet out of season. Homes are mostly houses and low apartment buildings, and Cartagena is about twenty minutes away by car.
